SOPREMA Liquid Applied Systems for Balconies

Balcony applications refer to a range of systems, from simple non-reinforced surfacing solutions to fully reinforced systems with heavy duty surfacing applications. Keep in mind that some balconies are over enclosed occupied spaces and require a fully reinforced application.

Balcony applications are currently available utilizing Alsan RS PMMA liquid membrane systems and Alsan Trafik HP 500 urethane systems.

In extreme weather conditions and under potentially high mechanical stress, the ALSAN RS Balcony & Terrace system has proven to outlast any conventional membrane or coating system.

The ALSAN RS system provides superior protection for terraces and balconies. Offering the shortest application times compared to other conventional systems, the entire structure can be fully waterproofed while providing the highest quality, performance and long-lasting protection against moisture penetration and pedestrian traffic. With reinforcement, some ALSAN RS Systems for Balconies can be warranted for a 20 year period.

ALSAN TRAFIK HP 500 for Pedestrian Traffic

TRAFIK HP 500 is a highly resistant liquid waterproofing system. Part of SOPREMA’s ALSAN line of polyurethane waterprooning products, the TRAFIK HP 500 system consists of a primer coat and 3 single-component polyurethane coats. Due to its superior elongation properties and high abrasive resistance, the TRAFIK HP 500 system waterproofs and protects concrete structures exposed to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
