SOPREMA USA set to Launch SopraRock® Stone Wool Roofing Insulation by Roxul.

Milton, ON – October 12, 2009 – Roxul Inc. is pleased to announce that a formal agreement has been reached with SOPREMA, Inc. on the development and launch of a stone wool roofing insulation offering from SOPREMA that will be marketed under the SopraRock® name.

Roxul entered the North American roofing market in 2008 leveraging the 35 plus years of roofing experience that its European parent company Rockwool International had to offer.  Roxul produces a premium line of roofing insulation using proprietary technology in its new state of the art facility in Milton, Ontario.

SOPREMA SopraRock®DD and SopraRock®DD Plus  are a premium line of stone wool roofing  insulations that deliver Fire & Water Resistance, Exceptional Dimensional Stability, Long Term  Thermal Performance and sound absorbing properties.  SopraRock®MD and SopraRock® MD Plus round out the program offering as a line of insulating coverboards made from the same stone wool materials offering the same product benefits.  SopraRock® program will begin shipping in December 2009.
