Recovery System applications are employed when an owner/specifier wants a lower cost alternative to a full roof removal and reinstallation. Soprema provides recovery solutions for just about any existing roof system, from corrugated metal roofs to two-ply modified membrane systems to single-ply EPDM roofs.
Recovery/Reroof applications are currently available utilizing Alsan RS PMMA liquid membrane systems, SEBS based systems and Alsan urethane systems.
ALSAN RS for Recovery/Reroofing
ALSAN RS systems are ideal for recovery and reroofing applications of existing roof systems. In many cases, it will eliminate the cost and disruption associated with the removal of the existing roofing/waterproofing membrane system.
By using the ALSAN RS LO system, recovery and reroofing jobs are made even more convenient with its low odor resin formulation that will allow system application without disruption to building tenants and minimal impact on the environment.
ALSAN FLASHING for Recovery/Reroofing
ALSAN FLASHING is a urethane system is a two coat non-reinforced cold-applied liquid membrane system applied over approved substrates. ALSAN FLASHING is a single component cold-applied liquid polyurethane/bitumen resin. The system is generally not reinforced except for certain critical areas which have Alsan PolyFleece reinforcement added. The finished surfacing is achieved with ceramic granules embedded in the top layer of liquid membrane.
ALSAN FLEX for Roofs: Create a Restoration Membrane
ALSAN FLEX is a high performance single component, rapid-curing, flexible SEBS resin formulation used to create a restoration membrane. ALSAN FLEX is normally a two-ply application. The rapid cure process of ALSAN FLEX allows for a small application window with only minimal interruption time.
The ease of application of this system is unmatched in the metal roof deck protection system category. The first coat is watertight in as little as 15 minutes.
ALSAN FLEX is specifically designed to be applied directly to corrugated metal roof structures and is also an excellent restoration system for aged EDPM roof membranes.
ALSAN FLEX is rated with the CRRC for solar reflectance and thermal emittance.
