COLPHENE® BSW H

COLPHENE BSW-H is a thermofusible waterproofing membrane designed for blindside (pre-applied) waterproofing in horizontal applications. Composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen, it is reinforced with a tough, dimensionally stable composite polyester/glass fiber reinforcement. With a thickness of 140 mil (3.5 mm), COLPHENE BSW-H is robust enough to withstand other trades. For additional protection, COLPHENE BSW PROTECT’R may be used. The topside features fine mineral aggregate for bonding to the post-poured concrete slab, while the underside is surfaced with a polyolefin burn-off film. The membrane also includes an engineered DUO SELVEDGE edge, which overlaps with adjacent membranes and is heat-welded to seal the lap.
