The patented DensDeck® design features glass mat facings on both sides, integrated into a gypsum core that is both water-resistant and moisture-resistant. This construction delivers outstanding fire resistance, moisture protection, and resistance to wind uplift. DensDeck® Prime Roof Boards are designed with a unique structure that enhances flute spanning and provides additional stiffness and stability to the roof deck. Furthermore, DensDeck® Prime is proven to resist de-lamination, deterioration, warping, and jobsite damage more effectively than traditional roofing membrane substrates like paper-faced gypsum board, fiberboard, and perlite insulation.
