SOPRACLAY

SOPRACLAY is a needle-punched, thermally reinforced composite comprised of a core of natural sodium Wyoming Bentonite clay between two durable geotextile layers to form a low permeability hydraulic barrier when exposed to moisture. The top layer is a stable fiber nonwoven (NW) geotextile while the bottom layer is a woven (W) geotextile. The nonwoven fabric is needle-punched through to the woven fabric, with thousands of fibers mechanically locking the sodium bentonite clay in place. S
