SOPREMA Bentonite System
The SOPREMA Bentonite Waterproofing System is a multi-layered solution designed for below-grade and foundation applications. At its core are SOPRACLAY and SOPRACLAY P membranes, which use sodium bentonite clay to form a self-sealing, low-permeability barrier. Detailing accessories like SOPRACLAY SEALANT and GRANULES enhance protection at penetrations, laps, and transitions. SOPRABOARD and SOPRA-XPS provide mechanical protection and thermal insulation, while SOPRADRAIN ensures proper drainage and relieves hydrostatic pressure. Together, these components create a robust, passive waterproofing system that’s durable, adaptable, and environmentally friendly.
